Trisha McWaters has had a camera in her hand for most of her life. She earned her Associates Degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Houston in 1985. After moving to Wimberley in 1992 she opened Teeks Gallery where she showcased local women artists as well as herself. She closed her gallery 10 years later and began focusing on her own art.
Her photography has expanded into mixed media, that includes or begins with her images. She loves to add quotes to some works that take it to a deeper, more intimate level. Her work is often driven by her own emotions and life concerns as she navigates this journey called life.
Trisha is so very grateful for her creativity as she feels it has aided in her growth and healing.
