Jim Street

Jim Street is a watercolor artist who lives with his wife in central Texas. A lifelong painter, Jim’s artwork took a back-seat during a 22 year career in the military. During that time his work took him around the world, where he was introduced to many of the scenes that he later painted. His subject matter varies from old vehicles to old architecture to city scenes. The artist selects his subject matter and paints it in a way that tends to connect the viewer with memories of things in the past. It is not uncommon to overhear folks who are viewing his paintings say “That reminds me of a time when …”. Jim earned a BFA degree in painting from the University of Florida and is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society. His work is held by collectors around the US.
